Dan is a chartered physiotherapist with special interests in sports related injuries, sports massage, posture, general conditioning and sports-specific conditioning. He is currently employed by the NHS where he has worked mainly in Trauma and Orthopaedics and Musculoskeletal Outpatients.
After completing a sports science degree at the University of Otago, New Zealand in 2002, Dan ran a successful personal training business and worked as a Fitness Trainer for several rugby clubs.
He then worked as a Rehabilitation Case Manager employed by a private injury rehabilitation provider based in London, helping his clients to regain their independence, and when appropriate for them to return to work.
Dan started working at Hertford Physiotherapy in 2017 as a Sports Massage Therapist and completed his physiotherapy degree at the University of Hertfordshire in 2018.
Dan is a qualified member of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy (CSP), and is registered with the Health & Care Professions Council (HCPC). He is a full member of the National Association of Massage & Manipulative Therapists (NAMMT) and is a professional member of the British Association of Sport and Exercise Sciences (BASES). Dan is also a Level 3 Personal Trainer and Level 3 Exercise Referral Instructor with The Register of Exercise Professionals (REPs).
